    • Machine translation is quite helpful when dealing with technical texts, especially when the machine translation memory is linked to exact projects as it can provide a translator with appropriate terms and other equivalents. In this case post-editing implies only the change of word order which definitely increases productivity.

So do you agree? Do you prefer using it? In which cases?

    • I really like the Longmates because it is one of the best social networks that are providing the translation services. The professional assignment writing service and Its popularity can be estimated from the fact that its community is increasing in large numbers. I love it.

    • To start with I haven't done that many MT post-editing tasks during my tenure as a corporate translator. Based on my experience machine translations didn't speed up the process at all. In some respects they even seemed to slow it down because I had to read and check an MT translation first only to discard it and retranslate the sentence from scratch. I guess this can be explained by the fact that MT was applied to a "normal" text with full sentences (user guide and web site contents). I believe that MT is good when it comes to translating separate words, like lists with one-word items, labels, specifications etc. where there are no lexical links between units. That's where it might really help as the translation of such texts often takes longer than usual (at least for me).

    • Speeding up the whole process of creation of multilingual documents by means of machine translation is one of the current trends of translation industry. Could you please share with me your experience of MT post-editing tasks? I understand that the quality of MT seriously affects the time required for creation of quality text in target language, but still want to ask how much MT affects your productivity, e.g. in words per hour?
