These images and descriptions have been used in various exhibitions and events in Austria in the first half of 2011, to celebrate 40 years of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Austria and the People's Republic of China. I translated the descriptions into English and German. The largest exhibition was at the UN head-quarter's rotunda, that's why there is more English. I translated a book on the history of calligraphy in China by Chen Tingyou in 2003. Chen's book is very detailed and carefully written. The exhibitions and events in 2011 firstly served official purposes.
